About Me

Manasseh Lee accepts the fact that the world is continually changing and that one area changing the most frequently is the IT field. He works hard to teach students the use of multimedia to enhance their lives and the lives of others.

He holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in computer information technology, both from Texas A&M University-Commerce. He has taught courses in Web design and Flash ActionScript programming at Dallas TeleCollege (DCCCD’s online college campus) and at Mountain View and Richland colleges.

With a background that includes both freelance and full-time Web design, his teaching and research interests include Web interface design, information architecture and blogging. He is currently researching the various applications of XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, PHP and Python. As a freelance Web design consultant in the Dallas area since 1998, he specializes in helping individuals, nonprofit organizations and businesses use emerging Web technologies.

“My goal is to prepare each student for the real world,” he says. “I equip students with experience and techniques that will help them stand out in a competitive field. I allow them to practice and give them space to learn from mistakes. I think it’s one of the best ways to learn. This allows me to give effective criticism, while the student can enhance their skills. It’s such a great feeling when students tell me that they enjoyed my class and learned things that will help them in their careers.”

Posted on July 11th, 2011 in Uncategorized with 0 Comments

Although Google+ launched on June 28th, only a few people were allowed access to use it. I remember feeling left out because I wasn’t allowed in for a few days. It seemed like a very long time but looking back I guess it wasn’t too bad. The wait was worth it. I found Google+ to [...]
